Contains postcards assembled by Ola Cohn, mostly unused, but some with letters addressed to Cohn, 1904-1950 and undated. Most of the illustrations depict carvings and sculpture from Europe, Asia, Africa and the Americas. The volume includes a bookplate by Ola Cohn.

Ola Cohn (1892-1964) was a noted author and sculptor in Melbourne. After graduating from the Royal Art College, London, Ola Cohn returned to Melbourne where she continued to work until her death in 1964. She created the Fairy Tree in the Fitzroy Gardens in Melbourne, an imaginative piece of woodcarving. She also wrote several children's books on the subject of the Fairy Tree.
